Windows 10 is the marketing name for the new version of Microsoft Operating System for PC’s and Tablets which will also be available in the future for Windows phones. Windows 10 is free for users who upgrade a licensed version of Windows 7 or Windows 8 in the first year of release.

A couple of new features included in Windows 10

Cortana, the personal voice-controlled assistant is integrated in Windows 10

Microsoft Edge, the company’s new web browser, will be Windows 10 exclusive and the default browser on the system which lets you take notes, doodle or take copies of web pages to read offline.

Whilst this is not bad news some caution needs to be exercised and some questions answered.
